Should I Move to Williamsburg?
Posted on | February 5, 2013 | 11 Comments
So remember last week when I mentioned a possible move to Brooklyn in the near future. Well it’s time we start digging into this for real. So, to start things off I’ve invited the super creative and ever-so-charming Shoko (author of Sho & Tell) to try and convince me to move to her ‘hood: Williamsburg.
Big, huge hugs and thanks to Shoko for stopping by to talk about Williamsburg. Check out some more of her writing here.

My mouth is watering, and I have to agree: superior people watching over in Shoko’s neck o’ the woods.

Shoko makes some good points there. The food is pretty stellar in Williamsburg. It’s hard to argue with that!

Ladies, maybe me being around all that delicious food isn’t such a great idea. For serious.

hi, i’m a new reader to your blog. i lived in williamsburg for four years out of my seven in new york and loved it. it was especially great when i was single because there are so many cute guys around, which not all subway rides and neighborhoods can boast. i recommend night of joy bar for classy drinks and getting hit on. and yes the food is good. the restaurants in park slope for example, are mostly mediocre in comparison. now, i live in crown heights and am surprised by how much i like it – am happy to let you know more if you are interested.

I love living in Williamsburg. My new favorite thing: McCarren Park Pool in the summer. It got a lot of bad press, but I was there all summer long and it was pure bliss. And free adult lapswim at 7am and 7pm? Heaven.
