Product Love

Here’s a round-up of some of the products I’ve fallen in love with this summer. Whole heartedly recommend each and every one.
1. Sun Beam by Benefit – It’s a mix between a highlighter and a bronzer. I put it on my cheek bones and it gives the perfect amount of bronzed shimmery glow. Not at all creepy body glitter. It’s also fun to put some on your décolletage if you’re wearing a sexy open neck.
2. Bumble & Bumble Surf Spray – As you know my favorite hair product EVER was discontinued and I continue to search for a suitable replacement. This surf spray is fun and easy. Spritz it on wet hair give it some scrunching and let it air dry. It gives my hair a little bit of that messy, sexy, beachy look.
3. Jergens Natural Glow – I have been using this regularly and I have to say it really works. I use the darker one but I had a pretty good base to start with. And I’m 100% counting on this little buddy to help me draw out my summer tan as long as humanly possible.
4. Josie Maran 100% Pure Argan Oil – Argan oil is an all natural, organic and chemical free oil that you can use in millions of ways. It comes from Moroccan Argan tree and is a great source of Vitamin E and essential fatty acids which both do wonders for your skin. I put it on under moisturizer two times a day and it makes my skin soft and gives it a subtle dewy glow. It also minimizes fine lines and acne scars, is a great cuticle oil and works wonders on split ends. I love this stuff.
Any great products you’ve encountered recently that I should know about?

How dark is the Sun Beam product? I’m super pale, but it’s nice to highlight that decolletage as you mentioned
.
I love Argan oil. It’s the only product I use on my hair (I don’t even wash my hair anymore). Actually, I make a body butter at home that’s really easy and I rub it into the ends of my hair , which is thick and tends to be dry. When I let my hair dry naturally, it creates the prettiest curl. I have a blog post coming up next week about the body butter, if you want to try it (makes a lot, and makes awesome holiday presents!).
I posted about summer essentials last year – I guess I was too lazy this year
.
Thanks for the tips!

@Deanna – I would recommend their other product, High Beam. It would probably be better suited to fair skin. It’s just as awesome. Also, Josie Maran makes an Argan oil hair product that I’ve been using as well. It’s pretty awesome.

I’ll have to check out the argan oil! Thanks for the reco.
I’ve been laying off spending money on new beauty products lately, but I have to share this: I splurged on a clarisonic mia after reading about it on “for me, for you” in July. WORTH EVERY PENNY. I am 33 and I don’t think my skin has ever been clearer.

@liz – OMG. I have been thinking and thinking and thinking about getting one of these. Your comment might just push me over the edge. I’m taking this as a sign!

I have combination skin. Slightly oily on my chin & forehead, but dry on my nose, cheeks and the space between my eyebrows. Overall, I am lucky: I tend to have clear skin, but if I do not moisturize I’ll get some flaky patches. But then when I moisturize to diminish the flakiness, I’ll get a pimple. Drives me nuts. But now I just use the clarisonic once a day with the boscia black cleanser & hydration gel and within 2 days I was like OH MY GOD YESSSSS. I used to be one of those people who would not leave the house without foundation & now I forget to put it on. I am going camping this weekend and I am leaving all of my toiletries at home EXCEPT my clarisonic. hahahaha
(I bought this: http://www.sephora.com/product/productDetail.jsp?skuId=1436401&productId=P375144&keyword=CLARISONIC%20Mia2(TM)%20Sonic%20Skin%20Cleansing%20With%20Boscia%20Set%20-%20P375144&_requestid=86526)

Sun Beam intrigues the business out of me.

Okay yes. Argan oil is the most amazing thing e-v-e-r. It’s from Morocco and is everywhere there, and dirt cheap. I bought two decent sized bottles of it for a whopping total of $6. I’m sad I didn’t buy more
