My Toast

So I mentioned my little sister got married a little over a month ago. It was the craziest, most drunken wedding I’ve ever been a part of. But it was also the most fun. The bride was beautiful. The groom handsome. And the rosé was flowing like water. Honestly, I don’t think there is a single, solitary picture of me from that night without a glass of rosé in my hand. But that seems about right, doesn’t it?
So here’s me giving my toast (in photographic AND video form!) for my baby sis and my brother in law. Toasts are never easy for me and of course I wanted it to be perfect for my favorite lady. This was my fifth Maid of Honor toast and I think it’s safe to say it was my best work yet.

I never saw any of your other toasts but I have read most of them, and I can say, completely unbiased, best toast EVER. Of course, eamo and curly also gave wonderful toasts as well! Love you.

I don’t even hardly know you and I totally cried listening to this video. Well done, you. Your toast was gorgeous and that picture of you is STUNNING.
sidenote: your voice TOTALLY sounds like what you sound like in my head. awesome.

Oh Amy, that was so lovely! I wish I had a sister. I am in the midst of writing a toast for my Dad’s 50th birthday party this weekend, and it’s so hard! Thanks for the awesome inspiration.
