Happy Valentine’s Day

On this Valentine’s Day I turned to the hilarity at someecards to provide some always appreciated laffs (did you know those are even funnier than regular laughs?!). This has never been my favorite holiday even when I was dating someone. (Um not even kidding, one year I got a portable hard drive on Valentine’s day. Romantic, right?) So no pity party over here, I’m feeling fine and fancy free. I have fantastic plans tonight with a group of fabulous gals. We’re heading to dinner and then to a liquor fueled event called Love Bites: The Power Ballads Sing-A-Long. So essentially a bunch of cocktails and then a big group singalong of awesome love songs (think Journey, Poison, The Bangles, Bryan Adams, etc.)
Now if that doesn’t sound like the best night ever, I don’t know what does. Happy Valentine’s Day. I sure do love you all.

Haha, yes! My best friend lives in the city and just got dumped last night (bastard), so I sent her the link to that event. If you see some drunk girl requesting “Love Stinks” a la “The Wedding Singer,” that’s her
BTW, I would be much happier receiving a practical gift like a hard drive (if I mentioned I wanted one) than a cheesy romantic gift. I frequently ask for new appliances, etc., for presents
But that’s just me.
Have a happy Valentine’s Day my darling. If I was a hottie single guy in NYC, I’d take you out on a date and try to get you drunk so I could cop a feel (who am I kidding, I’m probably do that anyway

OMG – are you kidding me?! Your poor friend. Oh man, I have to hope that guy’s karma will kick him square in the wiener. What an ahole.
And if took me on a date I would totally drink too much and let you get to second base.
Happy Valentine’s to you.
xoxo

I love the first one!!! My last two relationships have been with alcoholics and at first I wondered why they were available…. Ah hah! xo Happy valentines to the single and fabulous women out there. To enjoy the day the way we want. I have human anatomy lab (not joking) so I have an 11 hour day in front of me, then probably a martini and piece of cheese and bed. haha.

I’ve been married for awhile, and we don’t ever do much for Valentine’s Day. These Valentine’s Day cards are hilarious though!

If only I lived in NYC tonight – the sing along sounds like such fun!

@gia – that actually doesn’t sound too shabby! The martini, cheese and bed part, not the dating alcoholics part.
@Karen – IF ONLY.
