Pattern Love

Stumbled on Eloise Renouf’s lovely etsy shop last night. She is a textile and stationary designer from Nottingham, England. And her work is kind of magnificent. And I just realized I don’t say ‘magnificent’ enough. Need to work on that. So, I’m going to try it right now. Have a magnificent weekend, m’dears. I will see you on the other side.

Magnificent is a great word … actually, I have a fondness for any words that end in “-ificent.” Of course there aren’t that many of them. But it’s one reason I’ve always liked the name of the villain in Sleeping Beauty – Malificent. Damn that’s a good name! I can’t really stand the rest of the movie, but she’s one of the best animated villains ever. Wow, I really got off topic here.

These scream me – every single one of them! Do you have any idea where her textiles are available? I have a reupholstery project coming up and these would be perfect.
