Thoughts for a New Year…
Posted on | January 5, 2011 | 5 Comments
I’m not doing resolutions this year. I’m not anti-resolution or anything I just think it’s way too easy to fall into the “I’m going to change everything!” trap and then fizzle out after two weeks (as evidenced by how crowded the gym is right now). I think the new year is a great opportunity to reflect over the past year and to look forward to the new one ahead. But the truth is, you can change anytime. You can start running on a random Tuesday. Stop smoking on a Saturday night. Organize your finances Wednesday afternoon. And you can laugh more everyday. New Years is just a good excuse to start making changes. But it’s like that great quote from Vanilla Sky says; “every passing minute is another chance to turn it all around.” (Thanks, Natalie!) Happy New Year, my darlings! Let’s make this the best one yet.

i didn’t make any resolutions … partly because i’m 6 months pregnant & honestly don’t have time but also because i simple see this year as an extension of everything i learnt from last year. & also believe you can start over any time you want!

The wisdom inherent in this post makes me tingle. That’s right. Wisdom makes me tingle.
Is something wrong with me? Or is it just that something’s so terrifically right?
Maybe I’ll use 2011 to figure it out. Yeah. Resolved.
