A Case of the Baseball Blues

Last night’s Braves games has left me broken hearted. I know I get way too emotionally involved in the post season but I can’t help it. So much of my identity, family and love of my hometown is wrapped in the Bravos that I can’t help but take it all to heart. So it’s a do or die situation for my boys tonight and I’m freaking out. I’m also drinking approximately 200% more beer now that the post season has started. It’s takes the edge off, so sue me.

How were your weekends? I got my mattress delivered to my new place. So now instead of a completely empty apartment, I have an empty apartment with a mattress in the middle of the floor. Hooray! I’ve also hired a painter and a cleaning service and movers, too. I’ll officially be living in my new place as of Thursday. Super duper awesome, friends.

I’m thinking of buying this as a happy new apartment present for myself. Isn’t it kind of perfect?
