Another Week Goes By

Well, even though it was technically a quick week it still felt long to this lady. But anything involving working feels long to me. It’s just the facts. Really need to get on that lottery thing so I can quit working and just make things for the rest of my life. That sounds like a pretty awesome plan, no? What do you have on tap for the weekend? I’m going to grab drinks with a friend tonight and then tomorrow I’m going to play in a bocce ball tournament (with beer). I’m not sure how great I’ll be at the bocce part, but I’m sure I’ll be adept at the beer-drinking portion.  At the very least, it’ll be interesting. Otherwise, it’ll be the same ol’ same ol’ around here. I want to go get my bike on Sunday, but it looks like rain so I may have to postpone. I’m sure my bike hates me by now, anyways. Enjoy whatever it is that you get into this weekend. I will see you on the other side.

I couldn’t resist the $9 threadless sale and I need tees for working out anyways (see how I can legitimize any purchase? it’s a skill, really). This design is particularly epic and awesome.

I’m partaking in many delicious plums as of late and I have allllways wanted to attempt a plum upside down cake. Only problem is my new place has a weird microwave/convection oven that I’m pretty afraid of. So, maybe someone should make it for me? Yes, I rather like that idear. Here’s two options: (1, 2)
