Simple Happiness: Chuck Taylors

They are the quintessential classic sneaker. They’re affordable, they go with everything and they last forever. That’s why I’ve always been a chucks girl. I currently own 3 pairs (white, black and brown) and I’m pretty much always contemplating a fourth (these? or these?).

I love me some Chucks. I’m partial to the maroon ones, but I’m certain, you could totally pull off the orange.

i can’t even tell you how many pair of chucks i have. get both! this is one thing that is certainly better in excess.

Also: I put some minor rhinestones on the outside heels of my pink hightops and they are a smash hit and am having a reeeaaallly really hard time not doing them up full style. I might have to get some keds to do that instead.

I confirm, they’re the best. I have two pairs (low black and high red) that go with me everywhere… I like to joke that they’ve seen more countries than most people will visit in their whole lives and it’s true. Just in the past year they’ve done San Francisco, San Diego, Paris, western Germany, Risoul, Shanghai, Geneva (and Montreux), Korea (Seoul, Jeju-do and Busan)… of course Helsinki and Marseille, because I live somewhere in between, and right now the three of us are in Quebec! Talk about busy lives for my little shoes!
