Official Fruit of Summer

It’s watermelon, right? Or is it cherries? Or nectarines? Oh, who cares. I love them all so very much. Check out the world’s cutest watermelon that I picked up at the Union Square Green Market. I put a fork in the picture for scale (and because I’m a nerd).

And surprise! It was yellow (and delicious).

Haha, I was reading and I just went to my kitchen to find a fork so I could compare sizes up close! That is the cutest watermelon!

Mmm! Do you think yellow watermelon tastes differently than red? I thought so, but then I think it might have just been psychological.

I think every watermelon photo should have a fork in it.
The yellow watermelon looks delish especially during this unforgiving hot weather.
