Home Sweet Home

So I’ve been living at my friend Lesley’s place for a month. She is truly a saint and I owe her big time. The good news is I start my new temporary sublet tomorrow. I’ll be there for two months and at then I’ll move somewhere (where?!) permanently. All this moving and in limbo-ness does make me think about the idea of “home.” I’ve been homeless (figuratively, of course) for a couple of months now and it is an odd feeling. I started reminiscing of all the places I’ve lived in my life. And, because I’m such an absolute dork, I did some google maps work and found almost all of my former abodes. The only locales I couldn’t manage to get screen shots of were all the different dorms I lived in during college in San Antonio and in Sydney. So, besides those pesky dorms, here are all the places I’ve called home.

    I have wonderful, amazing memories in each of these homes. Except hurt street which I don’t remember.

    I love this! I’ve been nomadic too (for 4 years, unfortunately) and until I pull my act together, I’m also feeling that limbo. (Wishing you luck with this phase!)

    Oh, West Norwood!! What a crap hole – and I can say that having lived there. But MANY good times were had!
