Channeling Billie Holiday

Today I bring you a heaping dose of good ol’ fashioned narcissism. Because of my appreciation and love of all things vintage, I thought I would share with you how I got my hair did for the wedding. It was a chignon with a pretty flower tucked in. Some even went as far as to call the flower “perfectly placed.” That, paired with the sassy ruffles on my dress, and I have to admit I was totally channeling Ms. Holiday.

    Oh, I love that! I thought of doing my hair that way for my wedding, but decided to leave it long and loosely curled instead. It was humid, so I ended up with long, wet frizz.

    Wish I could go back and do the Billie Holiday instead!
