Hooray! My two best friends from college are here in Atlanta for our annual ladies weekend. We’ve been doing a get together every year since graduation and I must say it is always one of the highlights of my year. There is nothing like old friends. We make cocktails and snacks and just sit around and talk for hours. We have to catch up on the past years events, of course. With my life in a somewhat topsy turvy phase, it’s a delight to see people from my past who have loved me for a long time. They keep me grounded and remind me how easy it is to be happy again.

P.S. I hope my pals and I take a picture exactly like this in 30 or 40 years.

Love that photo! The aprons and the prints on the fabrics remind me of my grandmother.

Hurray for good friends! I wish I could do an annual get together with my good friends abroad… Have a great weekend! As I said last time, you sound like you’re doing a lot better!

have a great time! i have the same thing with my cousins – we’re not just family, we’re soulmates. getting together with them is always, always a pleasure.
