In celebration of Top Chef D.C. starting tonight, how about some good ol’ fashioned and very delicious looking food to make us all hungry on this fine Wednesday? Here are some recent entries from my food-to-make-soon collection. By the looks of this little smattering of recipes, it would be appear my taste buds are in as summery a mood as I am. Let’s eat tomatoes from now until forever.

Corn Dip with Tomatoes and Basil

(p.s. I see lots of low fat dip recipes that call for silken tofu. have you tried it?)

Heirloom Tomato Salad

Grilled Corn with Feta & Lime Vinaigrette

Grilled Chicken Stuffed with Basil and Tomato

You had me at corn dip.

But, then I kept reading and you had me again at lime vinaigrette.

I’ll be over at 7 with some Tostitos with Lime, mmkay?

The corn with feta looks amazing! I may have to try that one. Silken tofu is neat, I think. You should try it.
