Unofficial Start of Summer

Yahoo! Summer begins this weekend. We’re picnic-ing in the park and grilling in the backyard. I’m not sure if I’m more excited about the long weekend or the amazing weather forecast. But either way I’m in a pretty happy mood. I hope I’m able to duck out early and try and find a summery dress or two for this weekend. Happy Memorial Day! I’ll see you back here Tuesday morning.

-I am DYING for a fresh off the grill cheeseburger. Add a scoop of this delicious potato salad and maybe an ear of grilled corn and you’ve got yourself a perfect summer meal. Lay off of me, I’m starving!

-I won something! I donated to We Love Liam and won this print of my choosing from Max Wanger. What a coinkydink, I happen to be very inspired by his beautiful photographs.

-My friend/fellow blogger/all around creative force to be reckoned with Jen (a.k.a Miss Pickles) is heading off on the adventure of a lifetime. She and her husband are packing it all up and taking off in an airstream trailer. Aren’t they the coolest?! You’ll definitely want to bookmark Shiny Aluminum Love.

-This is definitely one of if not my absolute #1 dream kitchen. Someday…

-I am in love with making a few of these little shelves from old books. A perfect place to display all your pointless knick knacks (I have lots).

    I’ll be in New York this weekend, and I’m very delighted to hear that there’s good weather in store for me! I’ll be canoeing in the park, eating pizza in Brooklyn and searching out wedding flip flops. Woo-hoo!
