A Southern Delicacy

A bbq place in my ‘hood has Cheerwine! And they deliver! What a fun new development for me. For those who don’t know, Cheerwine is a delicious soda pop that tastes like Dr. Pepper and Cherry Coke mixed but better somehow. Growing up it was only available in the Carolinas so we would get a case to bring home if we were driving through that neck of the woods. I haven’t thought about it in years and I never thought I’d find it up here! Lucky me. And how can you not love that awesome retro bottle and label? Have you ever tried it?

Oh and in case I haven’t mentioned it, I love vintage soda pop!

I live in FL, but we used to vacation in North Carolina every summer and cheerwine was SUCH a huge treat. I’m always glad when someone else can appreciate it!

I’ve never tried it, but it looks fantastic. My mom would sometimes, sometimes buy my bro & me Green River as a special treat. Old sodas = so much better than plastic-bottled crap!

I’m from Detroit, but my boyfriend’s in Charleston, so he got me hooked on Cheerwine!
