Some Words About Headers…

Posted on | March 26, 2010 | 7 Comments

As bloggers, our headers are the first thing that potential readers see. They have to perfectly represent you and what your blog is all about in a little rectangular space. It is key to make a good first impression. I’m pretty happy with mine and feel like it does a nice job of symbolizing Old Sweet Song and yours truly. I think creating not only a good header but the right one for your blog is kind of an art form. From the simple to the more complex, here are some of my faves. Do you have any headers you love?

Love your pics! Headers I like include everyone you have here plus From Me to You, elephantine, wide open spaces, and my suitcase heart!

Your header is what attracted me to your blog so long ago! It is full of components that I love.

My header is very poor quality, hand-lettered, but people seem to like it.

It’s fun to see what others do with their headers. It really is an important first impression. I love your header. It speaks very well about your passions and interests….and so does your blog name.
