Simple Happiness: Girl Scout Cookies
Posted on | March 17, 2010 | 11 Comments
When I arrived home from my trip there a box had arrived from my mom. Inside: a box of Samoas and a box of Thin Mints. My mom is the best. The cookies barely made it through the weekend. Seriously, is there anything tastier than thin mints/samoas?

Thin Mints are a favorite in my household. We store ours in the freezer.

I KNOW! Why don’t they just sell them year round at the grocery store?!
That would be very, very bad actually.

These two are my favorite two flavors. I was at my mom’s house a couple weeks ago (during the snowstorm) and she ordered a bunch from a little Girl Scout who came by. I wanted to shout out my own order of 4,000 Thin Mints, but thought maybe I should hold off until I lose the baby weight?! I have this problem where I can’t eat less than 17 in one sitting, so it’s best I abstain altogether for the time being.

Nothing’s better! I ate a whole box of Samoas in less than two days. Those things are dangerous!

You’re singing my old sweet song, sister
I’m just polishing off the second box of Thin Mints and those Samoas are but a distant memory. Too tasty not to devour in days.
