Last Weekend in February

Say whaaaat? February flew by and now it’s about to be March. Please tell me spring is around the corner. As usual, I’m totally over the snow and the slush and the horribleness of it all. I’m pretending it’s last summer and I’m in Bermuda with this handsome devil. Here’s some goodness to get you through Friday. Happy weekend, darlings!
-I wish I had been invited to this party. Or this one.
-I need new snow boots (mine have holes in them, allowing the icy water to seep through and soak my socks, it’s kind of a nightmare). But I wish I could be thinking about buying new sandals instead.
-The Oscars are right around the corner. Have you seen all (ten!) nominees for best picture? I feel pretty proud about the fact that I’ve seen 5 of the 10.
-Make time to bake a cake. After all, they are delicious.

I read in Entertainment Weekly that some theaters are selling tickets to see all 10 Best Picture nominees over the course of two Saturdays.
I think it’s a neat idea in theory, but a whole lot of sitting in a dark theater in actuality.

as you no doubt know, i have seen all ten best picture nominees. YAY ME. no matter what happens, i will most likely be pissed off. a serious man FTW. it was amazing.
