Simple Happiness: The $5 Pashmina

The weather changing means changes in wardrobe, and in addition to my cowboy boots coming back into rotation I love that the chill in the air means I have a reason to wrap a scarf about my neck. More specifically a pashmina, a $5 pashmina that comes in a plastic wrapper and that I buy from a man on the street. It’s such a fun way to incorporate a new color into my life and you simply can’t beat the unbelievable price of 5 beans. I just bought the gray one this weekend and I’m also craving a yummy emerald green version. At a price like that, you can pick a new color every week. And that, my friends, makes me smile.

my boss and his wife were just in Turkey for two weeks and brought me back a pretty black and gray pashmina! i’m betting it still cost about $5 at a market somewhere.

I just love pashminas and you can really spice up your wardrobe with one that is inexpensively obtained! I love that photo – a rainbow of fashion possibility.
