My Own Little Room

Friends, I am sure I have mentioned the fact that I have my own office. It’s an amazing and wonderful thing to have my own little room, and in New York City of all places! I dream of the day I can share pictures of it with you. In fact, I hope it is in the not too distant future. But in order for that to happen, I actually have to organize and make it pretty. I want to show you a space I can be proud of. So I am officially moving toward getting it organized and preshy for your viewing pleasure. Now, what about this rug (on sale) from Flor? I think I’m kind of in love with it. I don’t know about you, but I am thinking I should purchase it at once! Update: Say you like it because I ordered it.
I also just decided that I need a white desk chair. My current one simply will not do. It’s a black, craptastic one from Staples that was not designed with looks in mind. So here’s the chair my heart desires (or something similar) but I want it to be 75% off. Do you think that can be arranged?

Having your own workspace is critical for allowing the creative juices to flow! I adore this rug you purchased – the perfect mix of modern and vintage in my mind!

amy. i have been sitting on a rubbermaid box for two weeks because that damn chair is not 75% off. fingers crossed?

Yay for getting the carpet, as it IS beautiful!! And as for the chair, all I can say is that when it goes 75% off, I am buying a few too

we have desk chairs at home that are made out of pinewood, pine seems to be a good wood for desk chairs*-:
