I’m Pretty Proud of This

One of the things on my list of thing to do when my mom was here is hang some pictures. For some reason moms are just better at that kind of thing. So while we waited for my AC to be delivered, my mom and I set to work at compiling a small gallery wall. I pulled out all of my small-medium framed art and we set to configuring a balanced cluster. We perfected it on the ground first, then took a picture and tried our best to recreate it on the wall. It was hard work but mom kept me sane and made sure I measured things and marked the wall with a pencil because normally I would haveĀ just “eyeballed it.” It turned out amazing though and I can’t stop admiring it. My mom and I make an awesome picture hanging team! Check out our ridiculous skills below. There are a lot of oranges/yellows/reds in this collection and it looks quite nice on the minty green/aqua walls in our living room, don’t you think?

looks great! i have a wall of collaged pieces like this and i went the “eyeball-it” route. as long as no one looks BEHIND the frames everything should be ok.
