Present Time! {Kristina Guilbeau}

Posted on | June 17, 2009 | 30 Comments

I am beyond excited to announce my second ever giveaway here on Old Sweet Song. Yahoo. Kristina Guilbeau (who writes the sweet blog And Baby Makes Three) has just launched her own line of gorgeous, handmade hair pieces. You have to peep them ASAP! I’ve been emailing with Kristina and she is a total sweetheart. To mark the launch of her collection of lovely accessories Kristina has generously offered up a hair piece of your choosing (that’s right, ANY of them) to one incredibly lucky Old Sweet Song reader. To be honest, I’m a little jealous! So check out Kristina’s shop, pick out your fave piece and comment all about it here (don’t forget to include your email address). Good luck choosing just one favorite because there are a lot of beauties (I think mine is Lady and the Ruffle, shown here). You have until Sunday at midnight to enter. Thanks again, Kristina!

OK, make me a winner this time.

I love, love, love the Noni Double Strap headband. It sort of makes me think grecian so it would probably look awesome with my gold gladiators.

she has some seriously great pieces! but in the end i’m going to have to agree with you and say Lady and the Ruffle is my favorite. i think it’s the idea of that pretty golden color against my almost black hair that draws me to it. :)

I really like them all, but I’d have to pick the Tamara as my favorite. Or maybe Sunday brunch. Or the Lady and the Ruffle. *Sigh* :)

I’m sticking with the Tamara as my fav.

This was really hard. And I wish I would have had one of these lovelies on my wedding day. But since that day has passed I’m going to have to go with Daisy Jane. I love how simple and sweet it is.

What wouldn’t that go with? And I love the descriptions!

i’d definitely pick the rachel one. lately i’ve been dealing with my hair by putting it in a messy reverse french twist, and i think with a few extra bobby pins… it would be MAGIC.

what an excellent shop to pick for a giveaway! thank you, girls!

I love the Kayden, I think it’s really pretty. I see you do custom orders, and I would love to see the the Kayden all the way across the front. Either way your work is gorgeous! You are very talented =)

The Kelly Girl is my fav for obvious reasons. Perhaps even better than the headband (that something could be better is hard to believe) is the description.

“She is confident and proud. She makes no apologies for being herself and lives every second truthfully. She is easy to love and sometimes hard to handle. Her stunning beauty can not be denied and her free spirit is going to take her on the most amazing of journeys.”

Let me be Kelly Girl, if only just for a day!

Elyse and I have the same taste! But who wouldn’t adore any of these? I think I’d have to choose Sunday Brunch, but Tamra was a close second. Fingers crossed…

    Thanks, Amy and Kristina. :)

Yay–best giveaway of the week! I am in love with all of them, but my favorite is Josephine, with the delicate flowers and sparkly beading. I’ve been looking for a sweet alternative to a wedding veil and I would wear Miss Josephine with pride!

Oohhhh – love them! My hair’s too poufy to pull off the cool ones that go on the forehead, so I’ll have to go with Sunday Brunch leading by a hair to Lady and the Ruffle. Lovely!!!

They are all really nice and I do like Lady and a Ruffle but Noni is the one I would want. It is small, she calls it petite and the detailing is lovely. I like that it is gold with the black band. Here’s hoping I win.

Oh wow! These are all so very beautiful! I love the descriptions as well, great Etsy store! I had the hardest time picking only one…nI want to go with the Tamara. It reminds me of mermaid dreams, the sound of the ocean, and colorful, shining scales. I would feel like a beautiful and mysterious sea creature as it glittered (and almost got swallowed) in my mass of unruly curls. :D

    Okay, that was really difficult!
But Kayden finally won out over the others.
