Magic Floating Books

Our new kitchen is kind of on the tiny and there doesn’t seem to be a good place to put my cook book collection. I have been brainstorming other options and I was thinking about trying the Conceal book shelf by Umbra. I have always been intrigued by them and think my cook books would look nice on the wall by the dining table. They sure look presh and promising in this pic. Thoughts?

I am ashamed to admit that I have three of the Umbra shelves that have been sitting around my apartment for over a year. I just haven’t gotten around to putting them up. But I think they look lovely!

I just wanted to let you know I own 4 of these and they can only hold a limited amount of weight. So long as you are happy stacking just 3 to 4 normal sized cookbooks per shelf you should be ok..more than that and they will not hold up. They can only hold so much weight. Cookbooks are heavy. I bought them imagining a stack of cookbooks on a different wall and they just didn’t work out because my cookbooks are so big and heavy.
Hope this helps with your decision making. I have these and here’s a pic of them in my library. I do get many comments on how my books are hanging on the wall.
