I miss the mix tape

Back in the day, I was a huge fan of the mix tape. Receiving them was fun and all, but what I really loved was making them. In fact, I would say making mix tapes has to be one of my favorite past times. I throughly enjoyed picking all the songs and carefully selecting the order so you develop a good flow and create the appropriate mood. I even loved writing all the song names and artists with special “mix tape” pens. I miss it! I still try and make mix cds whenever possible but iPods have rendered the poor cd essentially pointless. So, I present to you some fun homages to enjoy as I nostalgically look back on the glorious mix tape…
