Fresh Herbs

I love cooking with fresh herbs but they are so expensive and seem to go bad long before you’ve had a chance to use them up. Once it’s a bit warmer/sunnier I am going to try out my green thumb and grow some fresh herbs in the kitchen. I think these Grow Your Own Herbs are super cute from Jamie Oliver (who I happen to have a wee crush on) the seeds come in the grow-ready pouches so you just rip off the top and water away. Sounds nice and easy. Bonus points for the cute packaging design! Too bad they won’t deliver to the ol’ U.S. of A.

There is nothing like having fresh herbs on hand. I grew basil and parsley. You won’t regret it.

I know! I’m excited, and they are so much better than dried in cooking.
