I happen to love old pictures. And I also happen to love Polaroids. So finding the Poladroid application was like finding a pot of gold. This FREE application is seriously awesome. Once installed it transforms your ordinary pics into beautiful vintage-esque polaroids. You can watch them develop right there on your desktop and you can save whenever you like. And wait, there’s more! It even comes with the satisfying sound effect a Polaroid makes when it comes sliding out of the camera. How cool is that?! Sometimes I heart technology. (I should warn you, it was incredibly easy to waste approximately 47 hours playing with this).

Here’s one I did of the insanely adorable Sophie, my friend Brit’s daughter.

I heart polaroids also. So sad that they stopped making the camera. This is a pretty neat application though.

I know, thankfully I bought one before they stopped making them and I have a lot of film too. Of course, now I’ll be super stingy about using it.

I heart Sophie. What a cutie pie. It is funny but I never liked Polaroid cameras. I was afraid of the weird chemicals that were embedded in the picture and I was always disappointed in the quality of the picture, but you make it sound wonderful.
