My new collection

A few months ago, Anthony’s mom Lynn gave me a vintage typewriter. She said it belonged to her parents and she didn’t feel right throwing it away, so I gladly took it off her hands. It’s still sitting on the floor under a stack of books and I don’t know if it will be moving from their anytime soon, but what can I say, I love old typewriters! On a whim I bid on this vintage Smith Corona typewriter I found on ebay, and of course, I won. So now I have 2. That sounds like the start of an awesome new collection, doesn’t it?

I don’t know what I’ll do with them all. But someday, when Anthony and I have a big beautiful house, I’d like to display them proudly. Maybe all in a line on a thin, narrow table. I’d really like to get them working again. Then I can keep paper in them at all times for quick notes or funny bits. Ah, someday.
